On Jan. 22, 2010, Nanjing Chemical Industry Park awarded the Tax Contribution Prize for 2009 to Wison (Nanjing) Chemical Co., Ltd., for the positive contributions made by Wison to the economic and social development of the Park in 2009 as Wison made active efforts to overcome difficulties in production and operation to raise the economic gains of the enterprise and conscientiously implements its obligations to pay taxes in the severe situation of impact by the global economic storm and serious depression of foreign-oriented economy.
In the severe environment of global economic crisis in 2009, Wison Chemical went through the financial storm safely and steadily by strengthening enterprise management and optimizing operation structure. On Sept. 8, 2009, the phase II coal chemical plant of Wison in Nanjing was successfully put into operation with materials in one trial run; on Sept. 15, the plant completed the continuous 168-hour full load operation, not only set a leading record in the startup of similar plants both in China and overseas, but also enriched the product lines and increased output for Wison. As compared with 2008, the annual output of methanol and carbon monoxide increased respectively from 230,000t/a and 290,000t/a to 240,000t/a and 380,000t/a in 2009, a growth of 4% and 32%. The increase of output laid a foundation for Wison (Nanjing) Chemical Co., Ltd. to make more tax contributions.
Wison Chemical takes “paying taxes lawfully and faithfully” as its due mission, and files and pays all taxes in a timely manner in full amount. It has been awarded Grade A tax-paying credit standing of Nanjing in two consecutive years, as it has fully discharged its obligations to give return to society with resources from society and make due contributions to the national and local economy.
