The “2012 Meet in Shanghai” International Art Exhibition and China - Europe Art Forum hosted by Wison Art Center was held at the Pudong Library and the China Europe International Business School. The event was organized by the Shanghai General Consulates of Spain and Italy, Present’ Art Space and the China Europe International Business School, with the support of the Pudong Publicity and Cultural Development Fund. It was an opportunity not only to show different art forms but also facilitate communication between local and international artists.
The exhibition on the theme of “harmonious between humankind and nature” featured mainly paintings and sculptures, as well as photographs, mosaics, ceramics, installations, and other various art forms. Chinese artists Choud Deshu, Nie Weigu, Wang Xin, Lin Yufeng, Cao Yue, Guo Chen, and other international artists from 15 countries including Italy, Spain, France, Netherlands, Finland, Denmark and Sweden took part in the exhibition. In all, 200 pieces of art works from 50 artists were exhibited. |
From July 15 till last September 15, visitors had the chance to enjoy a set of beautiful works from artists who drew inspiration from nature, humanity, city life and other sources to express their passions in life.
Since its establishment in 2005, the Wison Art Centre has successfully held over 30 art exhibitions. As a non-profit organization, the Wison Art Center was established not only to promote art appreciation in Zhangjiang Hi-Tec Park, but also to create an artistic and creative atmosphere for all its employees and stakeholders.
